I understand that some are likely anticipating new data on Senators Santorum and Clinton. So am I. My building of this new data has been temporarily delayed by other obligations, but rest assured they are coming. After all, since this exercise is intended to serve as a comparison/contrast between these two, It is most fitting that I use all equivalent data for both of them. Please stand by.
I also decided to explore a slight detour concerning Judge Roberts, and the results were somewhat troubling, not just for Roberts, but also for how to interpret the data. However, since I only have data from one case, I seriously doubt I have the whole picture. For those who are interested, the results collected this morning appear in the comments under the "Disciplines Meet" article.
I also would like to thank Eowyn for her suggestion that I look into other political actors with possible sights on the presidential nomination. Granted, it is still three years away, but as she stated, "This is not a bad time to start paying closer attention to the possible contenders."
I would say that this is actually a better time to do the analysis, than just before the election. The speeches now would probably be a truer reflection of their beliefs than something written for them right before the election.

You may be right about that, PS. I have to wonder, though, how applicable that assessment is to the congressional sponsorship record...
